The extraction and sale of collectibles from inside Highmark Stadium \u201chave gone so well\u201d that CollectibleXchange founder and CEO Brandon Steiner \u201cprojects the effort could result in around\u201d $1.5M going to Erie County, according to Michael Petro of the BUFFALO NEWS. Steiner\u2019s company was retained by the Bills and the county to \u201csalvage any stadium elements with resale value.\u201d They \u201cwill split the proceeds,\u201d which Steiner \u201coriginally thought would bring around\u201d $1M to Erie County. CollectibleXchange in February began \u201cremoving regular and oversized signs and the stadium\u2019s goalposts, and ripping seats and bleacher benches from the concrete.\u201d The \u201cturf and other items around the stadium followed.\u201d CollectibleXchange is \u201cclose to selling out\u201d its stock of seats, which Steiner said that would \u201cbe the first time that has ever happened at a stadium that he has torn apart for collectibles.\u201d He said that his company \u201cexpects to sell between 6,000 and 9,000 standard seats,\u201d and they are going for $550 and up. Goalpost products are \u201calready sold out,\u201d and seat backs, which are going for about $100, \u201care almost gone.\u201d Steiner recently put on sale pieces of turf from the end zones. He said that hundreds of signs marking the stadium\u2019s sections \u201chave already been sold,\u201d and \u201cdozens more are added each week.\u201d There were \u201cseveral thousand signs of all kinds taken down\u201d from around the stadium.
