The North Pocono Public Library is excited to announce the Chairs of the 5th Annual Garden Gala, to be held Friday, July 10, at the library in Moscow.<\/p>\n

Patty DeScipio, Christina Hitchcock, and Tracey Smith lead a 19-member committee of enthusiastic library volunteers. They are all dedicated volunteers who share a passion for the library, its unique vegetable and flower gardens, and the North Pocono community.<\/p>\n

The other big announcement is the 2026 Gala Theme. Drumroll \u2026 it is The Year of the Tomato, with suggested guest attire in any shade of red.<\/p>\n

The Garden Gala will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., both inside among the stacks and outside on the library grounds around and through the unique vegetable, apprentice, and pollinator gardens. Local restaurants will provide food samplings, and there will be a wide selection of beer, wine, and spirits for guests to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Live music will be played inside by Kenny Moss and outside by Wade Preston.<\/p>\n

There will be basket raffles, a special gift card raffle, and a $2,000 gas and grocery giveaway as part of the festivities. Reservations are $75 per person.<\/p>\n
