You can take Mike Tomlin<\/a> out of the Steel City, but you can\u2019t take the Steel City off his schedule, as he\u2019ll return to Pittsburgh during the 2026 season when the Steelers<\/a> host the Houston Texans<\/a> in Week 13 for Sunday Night Football<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tomlin, no longer head coach of the Steelers, will travel during the 2026 season as an NBC analyst as part of Football Night in America \u2014 and he’ll be there when the Steelers host the Texans<\/a> in Week 13 on SNF.<\/p>\n

There’s arguably no game on Tomlin’s 2026 analyst schedule more poetic than the Steelers-Texans Week 13 rematch, especially considering the 2025 wild-card game that all but sent the former head coach packing.<\/p>\n

Tomlin will also be there for the Steelers’ road trip in Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> on Sunday Night Football, but it won’t be nearly the same warm welcome he’d likely receive in the Steel City of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
