WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. &#8211; Police in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County say they caught a four-legged trespasser near some soccer fields early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a quick and coordinated effort with wildlife officials, the black bear was safely and humanely captured, township police said in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p>Police say he was safely loaded into a transport culvert trap and will be relocated to a more suitable, wooded habitat.<\/p>\n<p>Both the bear and the officers are safe and unharmed, police said.<\/p>\n<p>For more information regarding bear safety, you can <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/Bearwise.org\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">head here.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"S.
