A woman has been hospitalized, officials said, after she involved in a hit-and-run crash that happened in Philadelphia’s Kensington community on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
According to officials, a woman was taken to a nearby hospital at about 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday after she was involved in a crash with a driver who fled the scene of the crash at the intersection of F Street and Allegheny Avenue in Kensington. <\/p>\n
As spotted by NBC10’s cameras on Wednesday, at the scene it appeared there were two vehicles involved in the crash. A damaged white SUV could be seen resting against a parked car while crews were working to tow a black sedan that had it’s doors removed and its airbags had been deployed.<\/p>\n
Contacted Wednesday morning, officials could not immediately provide details about how the crash occurred or provide further information on the victim or her condition following the incident.<\/p>\n
But, officials said, an investigation is underway.<\/p>\n
