{"id":198017,"date":"2026-05-20T17:07:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T17:07:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/198017\/"},"modified":"2026-05-20T17:07:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T17:07:21","slug":"commencement-2026-schedule-and-essential-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/198017\/","title":{"rendered":"Commencement 2026: Schedule and Essential Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Scranton from Friday, May 22, through Sunday, May 24, will celebrate its undergraduate and graduate Class of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of guests are expected for a wide range of on- and off-campus events, making this \u2014 combined with Memorial Day weekend \u2014 one of the busiest travel periods of the year in the Greater Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre area.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the University&#8217;s colleges and programs host their own celebrations throughout the weekend, leading up to Sunday&#8217;s commencement ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>More than 900 bachelor&#8217;s degrees will be awarded at the undergraduate commencement ceremony.
