Fire crews responded to the first block of Erna Court in Millbourne on Wednesday shortly after 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Police called it in, saying there were three people on the second floor, possibly entrapped, but maybe simply not coming out of the house.<\/p>\n
Fire radio traffic showed:<\/p>\n
Smoke was showing from the second floor in a middle-of-the-row home when crews arrived. Crews soon confirmed entrapment on the second floor.<\/p>\n
Firefighters also pointed out hoarding conditions, and fire in a rear second-floor bedroom.<\/p>\n
One of the persons on the second floor came out of the building, and was reported as semiconscious.<\/p>\n
Despite the hoarding conditions, personnel darkened the fire within 10 minutes. The reports also included that a search of the house was negative.<\/p>\n
The incident was placed under control at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Eventually, EMS on scene was treating three people. It was unclear if those being treated were residents. One firefighter was transported to Lankenau Medical Center. The injuries were not specified.<\/p>\n
There was an extensive overhaul. A fire marshal was asked to come to the scene. Board-up was sought for five windows and two doors.<\/p>\n
