While some customers told Erie News Now, they had received advance notice of a planned outage, the station itself was not notified ahead of time.<\/p>\n<p>Other residents in the affected area reported receiving alerts about the outage after it had already begun. One customer said they received a notification around 10:30 a.m., about half an hour into the disruption. That message indicated the cause of the outage was under investigation and listed an estimated restoration time of 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The outage also temporarily impacted Erie News Now\u2019s operations. The station went off the air during the outage and remained down until crews were able to fully restore power and reboot broadcasting systems. Spectrum customers are encouraged to contact Spectrum with any concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Power has since been restored to all affected areas.
