Authorities reported that emergency responders rushed the child to the hospital around 9:00 p.m. following the shooting at a home along Cherry Street. The bullet passed entirely through the boy&#8217;s left hand, and medical officials stated that the young victim is currently in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>Following an investigation, city police arrested the child&#8217;s father, 56-year-old Michael A. Lemongello, after determining that the pistol had been left out within the boy&#8217;s reach. Lemongello was taken before Magisterial District Judge Alyce Hailstone Farrell for arraignment, where he was subsequently released on $20,000 unsecured bail.
