JENKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) \u2014 A New Bethlehem man escaped serious injury after his vehicle traveled down a ditch and flipped onto its roof in Jenks Township on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
According to a report by Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville, the single-vehicle crash occurred at 3:07 p.m. on Beaver Meadows Road, south of Palomino Lane in Jenks Township, Forest County.<\/p>\n
Police reported that Corey A. Little, 27, of New Bethlehem, was traveling north on Beaver Meadows Road in a 2002 Saturn. The accident occurred when Little traveled off the berm of the roadway.<\/p>\n
State police said the vehicle entered a ditch and traveled approximately 100 yards before flipping over. The car came to a final rest on its roof facing east.<\/p>\n
Little refused medical treatment at the scene, reporting only a few minor scratches on his arm, police said. According to the report, he was not using a seat belt at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n
The Saturn sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by East Main Service, police noted.<\/p>\n
Assisting troopers on the scene were Tionesta Ambulance Service, the Marienville Fire Department, and local fire police.<\/p>\n
