Students and teachers across Erie are getting a helping hand thanks to new funding aimed at enhancing classroom learning.<\/p>\n
The Foundation for Erie\u2019s Public Schools recently announced the latest recipients of its mini-grant program, which provides financial support to classrooms in need of supplies, materials, and resources for special projects. The grants are designed to give educators the flexibility to bring new ideas and hands-on learning opportunities to their students.<\/p>\n
In addition to general classroom support, specialized grants were also awarded to special education classrooms. Organizers say the goal is to ensure that all students regardless of their learning needs have access to tools and experiences that support their success.<\/p>\n
The Foundation says it has been proud to serve the Erie community for years, helping bridge gaps in funding and ensuring teachers have what they need to create engaging learning environments. Leaders with the organization shared that they are especially encouraged by the program\u2019s continued growth and the increasing number of classrooms they\u2019re able to support.<\/p>\n
