Two people face felony trespass charges after police say they broke into a house and threatened to \u201cblow it up\u201d on Monday.<\/p>\n
Just after midnight, Scranton police were called to 1725 Lafayette St. on a report of tresspassing.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they spoke with Heather Hoinowski, who said Trent Smith and Kayla Guthrie entered her residence through an unlocked window while she was upstairs in bed.<\/p>\n
Hoinowski said the two made threats to blow up the house with her inside it, before fleeing in a Honda Pilot.<\/p>\n
Officers confirmed Smith, 25, of Bellefonte, was wanted by law enforcement.<\/p>\n
Neither Smith nor Guthrie, 33, of Monroe Avenue, Scranton, resided at the house, Hoinowski said.<\/p>\n
Officers retrieved a purse Guthrie dropped as she fled. It contained a prescription bottle that identified her.<\/p>\n
Smith and Guthrie each face charges of criminal trespass and making terroristic threats. Each remains at Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $25,000.
