EMMAUS, Pa. – Police in Emmaus say a high school student\u2019s injuries are serious but non-life-threatening after the student was hit by a vehicle Thursday.<\/p>\n
Borough police responded to the report of a vehicle collision at the intersection of S. Cedar Crest Boulevard and North Street shortly after 2:30 p.m., the Emmaus Police Department said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Upon officers\u2019 arrival, it was determined that a collision allegedly occurred in the middle of the intersection, borough police said.<\/p>\n
Borough police said one of the involved vehicles hit the student, who was walking in the area, after veering off the roadway and onto the sidewalk.<\/p>\n
The drivers of both vehicles had minor injuries, while the student sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries., borough police said in the news release.<\/p>\n
Multiple people – including the student who was hit – were taken to a local hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
