LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. \u2013 The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced two job fairs to be held in the region next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Reading USPS facility, located at 2100 N. 13th Street, will hold a job fair May 28th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.<\/p>\n
The Lehigh Valley Post Office, located at 17 S. Commerce Way in Bethlehem Township, will hold its job fair May 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is great opportunity for job seekers to work right where you live,\u201d said USPS spokesman Paul Smith.<\/p>\n
The Postal Service offers federal benefits, career opportunities and retirement opportunities.<\/p>\n
Anyone 18 years old at the time of appointment, or 16 years old with a high school diploma, would be eligible to be hired.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years<\/p>\n
Ability to clear criminal background check<\/p>\n
Safe driving record (if applicable to position)<\/p>\n
