PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 One man is dead after police said an argument led to a shootout in North Philadelphia Friday night.<\/p>\n
Police said it all unfolded just after 7 p.m. on the 3100 block of North 17 Street, just off Allegheny Avenue. <\/p>\n
Inspector D.F. Pace said the victim, a 49-year-old man, was sitting in a parked car when something transpired between him and another man walking by wearing a black jacket and a black chef\u2019s apron.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese two did confront each other on the street,\u201d Pace said. \u201cSomehow the individual in the car got out of the car \u2014 the decedent \u2014 and gunfire was exchanged.\u201d<\/p>\n
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He later died.<\/p>\n
The incident was captured on nearby surveillance cameras. At the scene, officials found drug paraphernalia, a gun, a cellphone believed to belong to the victim and five shell casings. The victim\u2019s car, a white Alfa Romeo, was also there.<\/p>\n
