EASTON, Pa. – A man who pulled a gun during an argument at an Easton home has learned his sentence.<\/p>\n
Judge Brian J. Panella sentenced Waleak Chandler, 42, of Easton, to 10.5 to 27 years in state prison, according to a news release from the Northampton County District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Easton police responded to the home on March 4, 2023.<\/p>\n
Chandler drew a handgun, pointed it at and threatened the victim, the DA\u2019s office said in its news release.<\/p>\n
The DA\u2019s office said Chandler was arrested and removed from the home.<\/p>\n
After getting a search warrant, police found a firearm in a garbage bag in the outside back porch of the home, according to the DA\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
Police found that Chandler was not allowed to lawfully possess any firearm because he had a history of criminal convictions, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
