William Reynolds presented Thursday his proposed 2026 budget for the city.<\/p>\n<p>The 112-million-dollar spending plan does not include a tax hike, but it does include investment in public safety.<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds is seeking a 3% increase in salaries for police and firefighters and to spend 4.1 million dollars on new vehicles for those departments.<\/p>\n<p>He said the city has also been &#8220;aggressively&#8221; paying off its debt since 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BETHLEHEM, Pa. &#8211; Property taxes will likely not be going up next year for Bethlehem residents.
