{"id":203035,"date":"2026-05-27T00:55:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T00:55:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/203035\/"},"modified":"2026-05-27T00:55:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T00:55:07","slug":"bensalem-police-warn-of-theft-trend-targeting-dodge-cars-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/203035\/","title":{"rendered":"Bensalem police warn of theft trend targeting Dodge cars \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bensalem Police Department <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BensalemPoliceDepartment\/posts\/pfbid0JEifvdJ8MHbbuSSEomVytXqqkcjHwCDinjjuNkA1utFzA19Yjx7RUxvNdsNhbcLsl\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BensalemPoliceDepartment\/posts\/pfbid0JEifvdJ8MHbbuSSEomVytXqqkcjHwCDinjjuNkA1utFzA19Yjx7RUxvNdsNhbcLsl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">warned residents on Tuesday<\/a> to take extra precautions to keep their cars from being stolen, particularly if they drive a Dodge Charger or Challenger.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, thieves have been targeting the two high-performance Dodge cars, as well as Honda CR-Vs, Accords, and Civics. <\/p>\n<p>The thieves are using sophisticated relay devices that can capture and amplify key fobs that are in the car owner&#8217;s home, police said.
