The Eagles signed rookie wide receiver Brandon Hayes on Wednesday. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Hayes participated in the team’s Rookie Camp on a tryout basis after not being selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
A product of Southeastern Louisiana, Hayes was a first-team All-Southland Conference selection for the second straight season as a kick returner. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi native was one of only five FCS players to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns this past season, doing so in consecutive games. Hayes’ 30.7-yard kickoff return average was the third best in all of the FCS.<\/p>\n
Hayes also contributed 227 receiving yards, 107 rushing yards, and a pair of receiving touchdowns in 2025. He averaged 26.7 yards per kickoff return and scored four total touchdowns, including one on a kickoff return, in 2024.<\/p>\n
