Meet Scholastic Superstar Ellagrace Miseo of Scranton High School<\/p>\n
Q: What accomplishments are you most proud of and why?<\/p>\n
A: I\u2019m most proud of acquiring leadership roles in community service-based clubs where I can continue to make changes in my community both in and out of school.<\/p>\n
Q: Whom do you most admire and why?<\/p>\n
A: I admire my sister for her unlimited curiosity and energy!<\/p>\n
Q: What were your most rewarding school or community activities? Why?<\/p>\n
A: The most rewarding community activity I participated in was becoming a counselor at Camp Wonder (a weeklong camp for children with chronic skin conditions). I loved getting to meet new people, learn about the medical field, and have fun all at the same time!<\/p>\n
Q: What do you do in your spare time?<\/p>\n
A: Violin, yoga, reading.<\/p>\n
Q: What are your plans after high school graduation? Why did you choose this path?<\/p>\n
A: Studying molecular biology at Princeton University on the pre-med track to become an orthopedic surgeon. I love science and have been surrounded by people in the medical field my whole life, so my love for medicine started very early.<\/p>\n
Q: What is your advice to younger students?<\/p>\n
A: Take every opportunity you can find. You never know what will open a door to a new passion, hobby or experience!<\/p>\n

A: I have read every book in the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d series eight times!<\/p>\n
A little about Ellagrace Miseo<\/p>\n
Ellagrace Miseo of Scranton High School is the salutatorian of her class. Her school describes her as one of the most autonomous, driven and kind students in the school.<\/p>\n
She is the daughter of Damien Miseo and Paige Summers.<\/p>\n
