EASTON, Pa. – A Philadelphia man has learned his sentence in a 2023 shooting that left one man dead in Easton.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announced Thursday that Kameron Barnes Nuble, 36, of Philadelphia, has pleaded guilty to Third-Degree Murder and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Homicide.<\/p>\n
On October 26, 2023, police responded to a convenience store on West Saint Joseph Street in Easton, for a report of a shooting, according to the DA’s Office.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim, identified as Legious Minder Sr., seated in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle, officials said.<\/p>\n
Investigators say that Minder had\u00a0a gunshot wound to his head and was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, but died from the gunshot injury shortly after.<\/p>\n
The Easton Police Department Criminal Investigation Division led the investigation, with significant assistance from the Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Fugitive Task Force and the Philadelphia Police Department SWAT Team.<\/p>\n
Investigators identified Nuble through surveillance video and advanced cell phone location tracking, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
On July 10, 2024, Nuble was apprehended at his Philadelphia residence by Easton Police and supporting agencies, the DA’s Office said.<\/p>\n
He was subsequently charged with one count of Criminal Homicide and one count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide, according to officials.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, Nuble was sentenced to 18 to 36 years for Third-Degree Murder and 7 to 14 years for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Homicide, according to officials.<\/p>\n
These sentences are to be served consecutively, for a total term of 25 to 50 years in state prison.<\/p>\n
This case was investigated by the Easton Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Robert Eyer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Another Philadelphia man, Rasheed Tisdale, faces trial later this year on murder and conspiracy charges for his alleged role in the killing, the news release details.<\/p>\n
