A Consumer Alert has been issued for restaurant in Pittsburgh after a foodborne illness complaint led to an inspection.<\/p>\n
An inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department shows Mintt Indian Cuisine on Banksville Road in Banksville was hit with 15 total violations, two of those considered high-risk.<\/p>\n
Those high-risk violations include vacuumed fish filets held in a freezer measuring at 44 to 46 degrees. That is above the safety zone for holding food.<\/p>\n
The other high-risk violation involved cold holding temperatures.<\/p>\n
Lamb, sauces, and heavy cream found in the middle of a cooler were measured above the safe zone of 41 degrees or lower.<\/p>\n
The temperatures for chicken, lamb, tofu and sauces in the upper section of the cooler temped between 66 and 70 degrees.<\/p>\n
A three-gallon bucket of paneer cheese was temped at 80 degrees and the internal temperature of raw eggs being held at room temperature on top of a prep cooler measured at 67 degrees.<\/p>\n
All of the food out of the safe zone was thrown away voluntarily. <\/p>\n
