State Supreme Court Justice Kevin Brobson called it the most transformative initiative of his lifetime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThe idea is that we cannot incarcerate our way out of addiction, mental illness or trauma,\u201d said Brobson, who hosted the event. \u201cBy combining accountability with compassion, treatment courts are changing lives.
