A certain wooly mammoth is returning to the UPMC Park Stadium tonight. Once again, the Erie SeaWolves will be re-branding themselves as the Moon Mammoths for their games May 29 until May 31.<\/p>\n

The Moon Mammoth alternate identity is courtesy of Comedian John Oliver and his HBO Show \u201cLast Week Tonight.\u201d This show chose Erie as the winner for this mascot re-brand inspiring the alternate identity that is uniquely Erie.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s game begins at 6:05 p.m. and will be the first of six Moon Mammoth games throughout the summer season. Following the game tonight fans can enjoy a fireworks show. On May 30 the first 1,500 fans will receive a Fuzz E. Mammoth Bobble-Trunk.<\/p>\n

On May 31 it is Erie Moon Mammoth Day celebrating a year of the Moon Mammoth alternate identity. It will also be a Sensory Friendly Day with the Autism Society and NWPA will provide information for autism support and services in the Erie community. Audio levels will be reduced in the park to provide a more comfortable experience for guests with autism.<\/p>\n
