JUNIATA COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) \u2014 A central Pennsylvania man was charged with robbery and rape this week after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted inside her Juniata County home, according to court documents filed this week.<\/p>\n
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown filed 12 charges on Monday against 52-year-old Larry Carroway, of Thompsontown, according to court records. He remains in Mifflin County Prison with combined bail set at $450,000.<\/p>\n
Charging documents show the woman spoke with Troopers on May 24 and reported hearing someone she later recognized as Carroway knocking at the door.<\/p>\n
State Police said in the criminal complaint that Carroway walked her to the couch and allegedly started to take her clothes off while kissing her, despite her telling him to stop and leave. He allegedly grabbed her by the throat so she couldn\u2019t breathe, held her arms back, and took her phone after she tried to reach for it.<\/p>\n
The woman told investigators she thought \u201cthis is the day that she is going to die\u201d as the sexual assault continued, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

State Police said they saw him pull into his driveway, and he was holding an \u201cOlde English 800 Malt Liquor\u201d bottle. Troopers also reported that they smelled alcohol on him.<\/p>\n The complaint shows Carroway was taken to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for a blood draw and DNA collection.<\/p>\n Court records show Carroway faces charges that include felony counts of robbery, rape forcible compulsion, sexual assault and strangulation, as well as misdemeanor counts of unlawful restrain, recklessly endangering another person, indecent assault, theft and DUI.<\/p>\n
