PITTSBURGH \u2014 Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Police told Channel 11 they were using surveillance video to help them identify at least four teenagers, accused of attacking a man inside the 7-Eleven<\/a> along Penn Avenue Downtown.<\/p>\n

On Friday, we were able to watch some of that video with the victim.<\/p>\n

\u201cI walked in at 3:53, and within a minute \u2014 minute-and-a-half, two minutes \u2014 I was out in the street getting pummeled,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video from a camera above the cash register in the 7-Eleven shows a group of people walking into the convenience store last Saturday afternoon. The victim, wearing a tan jacket, also walks in and gets in line.<\/p>\n

\u201cI noticed, kind of, out of the corner of my eye in the reflection of the soft drink door, that they were stuffing stuff into their pants,\u201d the victim said.<\/p>\n

The man said he walked to the back of the store and told them to put the items back before eventually getting back in line. Within moments, things escalated with members of the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was really in my face. I said, \u2018back up,\u2019 and he didn\u2019t, so I pushed him, and that\u2019s when the entire group came at me,\u201d the man said. \u201cAll I remember is a hail of fists. I tried to get out of there as quickly as I could.\u201d<\/p>\n

The man said he hopes charges will soon be filed and plans to pursue this to the fullest extent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love this country, and I want people to feel safe, be able to walk around in Downtown Pittsburgh, and I\u2019m going to do everything I can to figure out solutions we can put in place to make sure this never happens to anyone,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh police said they will apply for warrants once they can identify the suspects.<\/p>\n
