Everything you need to know about the 2026 Great American Book Sale<\/p>\n

The Great American Book Sale<\/a> returns to the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center at 527 W. 38th St. on June 14-19.<\/p>\n

For the Friends of the Erie County Library<\/a>, this sale is the top annual fundraiser in support the Erie County Public Library system. Funds are used to help increase, improve and promote the resources and services of the public library.<\/p>\n

How much money has the Great American Book Sale raised?<\/p>\n

In 2025<\/a>, the Friends of the Erie County Library raised a record $90,741 from the sale.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on sale at the Great American Book Sale?<\/p>\n

If you venture out to the Great American Book Sale, you will find<\/p>\n

adult hardcover books, $2;<\/p>\n

children\u2019s hardcover books, $1;<\/p>\n

children\u2019s paperback books, 50 cents;<\/p>\n

puzzles, $2 or as marked.<\/p>\n

The sale will also include a collector\u2019s corner featuring rarer and high-value finds.<\/p>\n

There will be weekly discounts from June 14-19, including filling a bag for $2 June 19.<\/p>\n

For anyone looking to donate to this sale, the Friends of the Erie County Library have temporarily paused donations due to an overwhelming amount of donations from the previous book drive.<\/p>\n
