Central Pennsylvania weekend forecast calls for sun, clouds, and a breeze.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTEAM FORECAST WITH METEOROLOGIST MARYELLEN PANN. GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. LAST WEEKEND WE HAD TEMPERATURES IN THE 50S AND 60S. AND OF COURSE ALL THAT RAIN. IN FACT, WE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF WET WEATHER. WELL, NOW WE\u2019RE IN FOR A TREAT BECAUSE WE\u2019RE GOING TO SEE SEVERAL DAYS OF DRY WEATHER, PLEASANT CONDITIONS, LOW HUMIDITY. AS WE CLOSE OUT THE MONTH OF MAY. SO TODAY IS GOING TO BE BREEZY. TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S, WHICH IS ABOUT TEN DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE. BUT WE HEAD TOWARDS MORE CLOSER TO AVERAGE SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE MID MAYBE EVEN UPPER 70S ARE REALLY NEXT BEST CHANCE FOR SEEING ANY KIND OF SPOTTY SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL BE ON TUESDAY, BUT THERE WILL BE VERY HIT OR MISS SO NOT EVERYBODY WILL SEE THEM. THEN WE\u2019RE GOING TO SEE TEMPERATURES TURN AROUND AS WE HEAD INTO THE LATTER PART OF THIS WEEK. BACK TO THE 80S AND SUMMERLIKE WARMTH, EVEN A LITTLE HUMIDITY BUILDING IN AS WELL. WE\u2019RE ALSO TRACKING THE THREAT FOR SOME SHOWERS AND STORMS FOR NEXT WEEKEND, ALTHOUGH IT WON\u2019T BE A WASHOUT. SO NEWS EIGHT STORM TEAM FORECAST FOR TODAY CALLS FOR SUNNY SKIES THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 50S AROUND 9:00. SUN AND A FEW CLOUDS WILL BUBBLE UP IN THE AFTERNOON. IT WILL BE COOL. WILL BE DEALING WITH SOME BREEZY WINDS. WE\u2019LL SEE PARTLY SUNNY SKIES. AND THEN THOSE CLOUDS WILL START TO FADE AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE EVENING HOURS, THE BREEZE WILL START TO SETTLE DOWN AND TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BACK TO AROUND 62 DEGREES. AT 8:00 TONIGHT, CLEAR SKIES, COOL CONDITIONS, TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 40S TO LOW 50S. THIS TIME OF YEAR. WE SEE OUR LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S, SO IT IS GOING TO BE A COOL START TO OUR SUNDAY, BUT PLENTY OF SUNSHINE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEKEND. LOOK AT THOSE TEMPERATURES. THEY WILL REBOUND BACK INTO THE MID AND UPPER 70S WITH MUCH LIGHTER WINDS. A GREAT NIGHT FOR VIEWING. MAY 2ND. FULL MOON, ALSO KNOWN AS THE BLUE MOON, IT IS FULLY ILLUMINATED AT 445 TOMORROW MORNING. YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT BEFORE IT SETS AT 520, BECAUSE THE CONDITIONS WILL BE IDEAL IN YOUR WEATHER AND HEALTH CHECK. POLLEN LEVELS ARE MODERATE FOR TREE AND GRASS POLLEN. AIR QUALITY IS GOOD AND THE UV INDEX IS HIGH. WITH THE BURN TIME OF 25 MINUTES. TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW ARE IN THE MID 50S. THEY CONTINUE TO FALL. WE WERE IN THE LOW 70S JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT, BUT WE HAVE A FRONTAL BOUNDARY THAT CONTINUES TO SAG TO THE SOUTH, AND OUR WINDS ARE PICKING UP OUT OF THE NORTH, BRINGING IN SOME COOLER AIR. SO YOU CAN SEE THAT COOLER POCKET OF AIR OVER THE NORTHEAST. AND THAT\u2019S GOING TO KEEP TEMPERATURES BELOW AVERAGE. BUT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN AND OUR WINDS SHIFT, WILL TAP IN ON THAT MORE SEASONABLE AIR FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEKEND. SO HERE\u2019S A LOOK AT WIND GUSTS FOR TODAY. AT TIMES THEY MAY BE ABOUT 25 TO 30MPH. AND COMING IN FROM THE NORTH THEY WILL START TO SUBSIDE THOUGH AS WE HEAD INTO THE EVENING. SO THE FRONT IS JUST ABOUT THROUGH THE AREA. WE\u2019VE GOT THOSE WINDS PICKING UP OUT OF THE NORTH, BUT IT IS A QUIET, DRY DAY. JUST SOME UPPER LEVEL ENERGY WILL HELP TO PRODUCE SOME CLOUDS IN THE AFTERNOON. OTHERWISE, WE\u2019RE LOOKING AT REALLY PLEASANT CONDITIONS. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN. RELAX THE WINDS TONIGHT. CLEAR OUR SKIES AND BRING A WALL TO WALL SUNSHINE FOR OUR SUNDAY AND ALSO MORE PLEASANT CONDITIONS WITH CALMER WINDS. AND WE\u2019LL SEE THOSE TEMPERATURES RESPONDING. ANOTHER WEEK. BOUNDARY DROPS SOUTH. NOT ANY PRECIPITATION WITH IT AT ALL FOR MONDAY, BUT IT\u2019S ANOTHER NICE DAY ON MONDAY WITH TEMPERATURES STILL NEAR SEASONABLE AVERAGES. SO NOT ONLY WILL AFTERNOON HIGHS BE NEAR SEASONABLE AVERAGES, IF NOT JUST A LITTLE BIT BELOW, BUT OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL AS WELL. WE SHOULD BE AROUND 58. YOU CAN SEE OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE FALLING SHORT OF THAT ALL THE WAY THROUGH THURSDAY WE FINALLY GET TO WHERE WE SHOULD BE NEAR 60 ON FRIDAY FOR A MORNING LOW 60 FOR SATURDAY. AND THAT\u2019S WHEN WE SEE OUR NEXT BEST CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS. AS WE CHECK OUT YOUR TEN DAY FORECAST. IT\u2019S GOING TO BE A REALLY PLEASANT END TO MAY. IN THE BEGINNING OF JUNE.
