The Bishop Canevin product stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 330 pounds, and was a multi-sport athlete in high school, playing basketball in addition to football.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Butler anchored the left side of the offensive line from his tackle spot for his first three years of high school, earning three straight all-conference selections and being named the Black Hills Conference lineman of the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Butler held offers from teams like James Madison, Kent State, Temple, and Akron.
