CHADDS FORD, Pa. (WHTM) \u2014 Two men are facing charges, accused of causing a motorcyclist to crash and nearly causing another crash.<\/p>\n
Brian Blattner, 37, and George Cwienk III, 51, were arrested Thursday on felony aggravated assault charges, among others.<\/p>\n
According to State Police at Avondale, troopers and firefighters were called to a crash on Sept. 13 around 6:45 p.m. on U.S. 1 Northbound in Pennsbury Township, Chester County.<\/p>\n
AG: Mechanicsburg-based company to pay $750K for deceptive business practices <\/a><\/p>\n Troopers said a group of motorcycle riders wearing motorcycle club jackets were passing stopped traffic and blocking northbound traffic by slowing down and preventing others from passing legally in open lanes.<\/p>\n A man attempted to pass the slower traffic on a motorcycle when Cwienk III, troopers alleged, swerved multiple times at the man causing him to brake abruptly to avoid striking Cwienk and a jersey barrier.<\/p>\n A woman was also riding a motorcycle in the open left lane passing traffic when Blattner, troopers alleged, abruptly turned from the right lane into the left and struck her motorcycle.<\/p>\n She then struck the jersey barrier, was thrown from the motorcycle and knocked unconscious.<\/p>\n Cwienk III was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, among other charges.<\/p>\n Blattner was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault by a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, among others.<\/p>\n
