It\u2019s part of ongoing efforts to reinforce neighborhood ties and support peacebuilding. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">In addition to food and music, community organizations and local service providers were on hand to help out their neighbors. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Organizers say spreading a message of peace and hope helps counteract gun violence. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cSo basically, we have got to cure those risk factors,\u201d Rev. Eileen Smith said. \u201cSo that\u2019s why we\u2019re here today.
