EASTON, Pa. — Crayola is helping create colorful memories for kids going through tough times and their families.<\/p>\n
The nonprofit “A Kid Again” teamed up with the Crayola Experience on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The event gave kids who are experiencing life-threatening illnesses a chance to put their imagination into action, whether it was wrapping their own Crayola crayon or starring in a comic book.<\/p>\n
Organizers say the annual adventure, now in its fourth year, is about giving families lasting memories of fun and togetherness, even while navigating difficult medical journeys.<\/p>\n
“To see these families who sometimes are just spending months at a time at the hospital or focusing and worrying about how their child is going to survive, to be able to, to have fun and see them enjoy making crayons and playing with Model Magic as a family, so this way then, they get to see their siblings interact, it’s so amazing,” said Lori Ellis, the head volunteer.<\/p>\n
