BETHLEHEM, Pa. — From tacos to loaded nachos, Taco Fest returned for another year at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n
“When we have great weather, we have a lot of business and a lot of people out walking around,” said Tracy Ruschman with Mom and Mel’s Sweet Scoops.<\/p>\n
Ruschman served up special churro milkshakes at Mom and Mel’s Sweet Scoops.<\/p>\n
“It’s very festive. Feature flavor is cinnamon in this milkshake. We got some caramel around the outside with the cherry and a special festive flag on there,” said Ruschman.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of people, including Melissa Delvecchio, are trying out food trucks of all kinds.<\/p>\n
“I’m a big foodie, so I just ordered tacos from this spot over here,” said Delvecchio.<\/p>\n
The Delvecchio’s brought their dog Cookie to compete in a pageant.<\/p>\n
“I’m actually really excited for the beauty pageant for here,” said Ainsley Delvecchio.<\/p>\n
“It seems every year more and more people show up for this,” said George Pitsilos, owner of Take a Taco.<\/p>\n
Pitsilos sold all types of tacos.<\/p>\n
“We have beef and chicken and if you’re a vegan or celiac, we take care of that for you also. Our pierogi fries are a big seller also,” said Pitsilos.<\/p>\n
He saw a lot of familiar faces.<\/p>\n
“I’ve been doing this for 50 years, so a lot of people know us and when they come up, you know they’re like family to us,” said Pitsilos.<\/p>\n
At an event that keeps him coming back.<\/p>\n
“We look forward to this.
