Police are seeking help from the public to identify three men after, officials said, a gunman fired into a crowd during a fight in Philadelphia’s Germantown section on May 17, 2026. <\/p>\n
On Monday, officials released surveillance video online in the hopes of identifying the individuals involved in this incident. <\/p>\n
According to police, the incident that was caught on camera happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, along the 100 block of Manheim Street in Philly’s Germantown section, when two armed men arrived on that block after another individual called for help after a fight. <\/p>\n
Two men armed with handguns arrived at the scene and, officials said, one of these men fired several shots into a crowd during this incident. <\/p>\n
No one was reportedly injured in this incident, officials said. <\/p>\n
Police described the man who is believed to have fired into the crowd as having cornrows in his hair and wearing a gray hoodie, white shirt and black pants at the time the shooting occurred. <\/p>\n
The other armed individual in this incident was described by police as having braids and wearing a black hoodie and black pants at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n
A third, unarmed man sought in this incident was described as wearing black shorts and a t-shirt during the incident. <\/p>\n
