PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 A woman stabbed her mother to death in West Philadelphia, investigators said.<\/p>\n
The victim was found late Sunday night bleeding in front of her neighbor\u2019s house on Westminster Avenue, near 46th Street. Police believe she was there to try to get help.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe that the stabbing victim left her apartment here on the 4600 block and was attempting to get help from a neighbor when the stabbing occurred outside, closer and in front of the neighbor\u2019s home,\u201d said Inspector D.F. Pace.<\/p>\n
The daughter ran off. Police are still looking for her, and they are very concerned about the safety of her children.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s still a lot of questions to be answered with respect to this incident, as to what transpired, what motivated the stabbing,\u201d Pace said. \u201cThe culprit in this incident, the perpetrator \u2026 we understand she may have children as well. We\u2019re trying to determine where they are and ensure their safety.\u201d<\/p>\n
