\n\tThe event will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. June 9 in the Text & conText Lab on the third floor of Hillman Library. It will be facilitated by Amanda Hudgins from the Center for Creativity.<\/p>\n
\n\tTransform a worn or paperback favorite into a beautifully rebound hardcover edition with simple bookbinding materials and techniques. Bring a treasured novel from home or choose something from our collection, and leave with a one-of-a-kind custom binding you made yourself.<\/p>\n
\n\tAlong the way, explore the creative possibilities of repair, reuse, and reinvention while learning foundational bookbinding skills that connect to other making processes like paper marbling, printmaking, and cover design.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tNo prior experience required. Just bring your creativity, and maybe your favorite dog-eared book.<\/p>\n
