The City of Erie is launching a new initiative called Civic Dialogues in partnership with Change.org<\/p>\n
Like the name entails, Civic Dialogues aim to engage the erie community in constructive conversations about Erie\u2019s future through an accessible online website.<\/p>\n
\u00a0JET Action News crowned victor of Battle of the Broadcasters thanks to viewer support\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Over the course of eight weeks, Change.org will first accept civic input and from that, they will coordinate group sessions, reflective of the city\u2019s demographics, to attend a live discussion.<\/p>\n And they are encouraging erie residents to submit their ideas on how to improve the city.<\/p>\n \u00a0PA state senator preparing legislation on data center requirements\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThe first four to five weeks, you\u2019re able to vote on ideas that have been submitted by your fellow residents,\u201d said Tori Williams, the mayor\u2019s office community affairs coordinator. \u201cEvery resident of the city of Erie should go to this website for Change.org and make sure that they share what recommendations that they have to make Erie a better place. We know there\u2019s wonderful ideas out there for our residents to share their great feedback about how we could make Erie a more positive or a more bustling city- you name it.\u201d<\/p>\n Change.org is a nonpartisan non-profit with the mission to build better democracies and they are fully covering the cost of this program.
