Other units quickly arrived and said the officer appeared to have a broken leg, and the motorcycle was demolished.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Police investigate the incident. (PETE BANNAN-DAILY TIMES)<\/p>\n<p>The other driver and the vehicle remained on location, according to radio traffic. Garrett Road was blocked off. The officer was taken to Lankenau Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said the officer has a broken leg in two places that will require surgery.
