Lawrence Convention Center. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">It was hosted by the Builders Guild of Western Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh Regional Building Trades Council.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Middle and high school students could watch hands-on demonstrations and talk with industry professionals about how to prepare for future careers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThe reason this matters is it catches kids\u2019 imagination,\u201d Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Secretary Nancy Walker said. \u201cGiving young people the opportunity to try things gets them excited about it.
