ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Superheroes and villains will take over Allentown this coming weekend.<\/p>\n

The Lehigh Valley Comic Convention is taking place at the Allentown Fairgrounds on Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th.<\/p>\n

The event is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.<\/p>\n

More than 500 tables will be set up, featuring tons of comic books and pop culture merchandise.<\/p>\n

There will also be more than 60 feature guests, including ink-artist Bob Almond and Darren Auck, an illustrator and director for Marvel, DC, and Nickelodeon.<\/p>\n

“So, we’re gonna have all kinds of stuff. We’re gonna do a lot of five-dollar soft-cover graphic novels, Manga, hard-cover books, and then we’ll have a nice collection of what we call \u2018con-stock.\u2019 It’s those priced books from like two dollars to 30 dollars,” says John Hohn, owner of Jaf Comics.<\/p>\n

The Comic-Con will also feature a “creator alley” and “cosplay corner.”<\/p>\n
