{"id":209410,"date":"2026-06-03T11:22:03","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T11:22:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/209410\/"},"modified":"2026-06-03T11:22:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T11:22:03","slug":"police-woman-stabs-person-multiple-times-caught-after-hiding-in-wooded-area-allentown-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/209410\/","title":{"rendered":"Police: Woman stabs person multiple times, caught after hiding in wooded area | Allentown Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; A woman is being charged with stabbing and injuring another woman in Allentown Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Cara Stout-Vaxter, 31, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, the Allentown Police Department said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Police and EMS crews responded to the 200 block of Union Street at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, city police said.<\/p>\n<p>Responding officers found a 47-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Police said her injuries are considered non-life-threatening, and she is expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p>After getting a description of Stout-Vaxter from the woman, police found her hiding in a nearby wooded area and was taken into custody without further incident, city police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; A woman is being charged with stabbing and injuring another woman in Allentown Tuesday.
