The scoring started in the third for the Railriders with Oswaldo Cabrera bringing in a run off a sac fly before Francisco Alvarez doubles in a run in the bottom half of the inning.<\/p>\n
Both teams exchange runs in the fourth as well, with the Yankees\u2019 number one prospect, George Lombard, walking home a run while Andy Ibanez pimped a solo homer to left to tie the game at 2.<\/p>\n
Ernesto Martinez hit a solo homer to give the Railriders the lead in the sixth before Seth Brown doubled home Spencer Jones to bring on the insurance, before Jones walked home a run in the eighth, and Cabrera sac flied home another run to give them a 6-2 lead they would not relinquish.<\/p>\n
Rafael Montero closed the game in relief after Carsson Coleman allowed three runs on just one hit in the ninth.<\/p>\n
Dom Hamel gets his second win of the season, allowing just two earned runs and four hits through five innings of work.<\/p>\n
The two teams duke it out again on Wednesday in Syracuse with the first pitch scheduled for 4:05 p.m.<\/p>\n
Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre returns to PNC Field on Tuesday, June 9th, against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.<\/p>\n
