Jenessa Norton, Business and Economic Development Specialist, supports Anissah Sanchez the owner of Empanissah\u2019s, a new Latin-American fusion restaurant that will be opening in the heart of downtown Erie.<\/p>\n
Jenessa helped bring together many community stakeholders to ensure that Anissah\u2019s dream of opening her own restaurant a reality.<\/p>\n
The new restaurant when opened it will be located in the former Catfish Kitchen space at 38 North Park Row. The official \u201cGrand Opening Fiesta\u201d will take place on Sunday, November 2 from 2 to 8 p.m. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting at 2:15 p.m. with special promotions, free tastings, music and much more.<\/p>\n
The hope is to welcome the entire community to experience the newest Latin culture in Erie.<\/p>\n
Empanissah\u2019s will specialize in over 10 different empanada flavors, sweet and savory, amongst manty other flavorful Latin-inspired plates. The restaurant takes a deep love of authentic flavor, community, and culture and blends it into traditional Latin tastes with a modern style of dining.<\/p>\n
The \u201cCreate Your Plate\u201d meal will allow guests to customize their empanada with meat and sides. A \u201cLil\u2019 Empanaditos\u201d kids meal gives kids the chance to try Latin cuisine in a new way.<\/p>\n
The owner herself has been cooking and sharing her dishes with the Erie community for over six years while operating out of a local kitchen. Now she is achieving her long awaited milestone of opening her own restaurant.<\/p>\n
