A Bethlehem Township man who fell off of a moving vehicle in a shopping center parking lot has died from his injuries, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
Daniel J. Maffea, 20, died Friday at St. Luke\u2019s Hospital Anderson Campus, where he was taken after the May 22 crash, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said Wednesday in a news release.<\/p>\n
Maffea had been riding on the closed trunk of a vehicle as it was traveling across Madison Boulevard in the Madison Farms Shopping Center off Freemansburg Avenue in the township, Lysek said.<\/p>\n
The manner of death was ruled accidental, with the cause blunt force head trauma, according to Lysek.<\/p>\n
