District 2 runners: Elk Lake (Azlyn Gazzillo, Chelsea Grosvenor, Madison Kerr, Kylee Pond, Faith Tracy, Kendyl Weisgold), Montrose (Emma Geertgens, Lauren Hollister, Avery Kerr, Ava Rebello, Addison Sena, Addison Stephens), Trinity Lord (Blue Ridge), Leah Smith, Adele Deemer (Holy Redeemer), Rylin Wech (Lakeland), Corinne Flynn (Mountain View), Cali Talarico, Elena Bialkowski (Old Forge), Kiera Burke (Susquehanna), Grace Rushmer (Wyoming Seminary)<\/p>\n

Around the state: Dufrene won the District 4 title in 19:00.0. \u2026 Bella Ascheri from Forest Hills, who placed second in last year\u2019s state meet, was second at the District 6 Championships in 19:13.9 to Natalia Mavridis of Richland (18:42.2). Mavridis was ninth last year at states. \u2026 Abby Rowland of Faith Christian Academy won the District 1 title in 19:09.20. Ruby Keddie from New Hope Solbury was second in 19:31.0. Rowland took fifth last year at states and Keddie was ninth. \u2026 Maggie Jewell of Mercer won the District 10 title in 18:16 and Annasophia Viccari from West Middlesex was second in 18:46. Viccari was 13th last year at states. \u2026 Lancaster Catholic\u2019s Leah Droter won the District 3 title in 19:36.5. Droter was 19th last year at states. \u2026 Charlotte Barker (18:38.5) and Josephine Lenart (18:39.7) of Shady Side Academy finished 1-2\u00a0 at the District 7 Championships and Winchester Thurston\u2019s Abigail Weinstein was third in 18:47.8. Weinstein was 14th last year at states. \u2026 Beatrice Kolesar from Cranberry won the District 9 title in 19:32. Kolesar was 17th last year at states. \u2026 Elk Lake\u2019s Weisgold, this year\u2019s District 2 champ, placed 11th last year in 20:20.<\/p>\n

District 2 runners: Valley View (Makenna Adams, Hailey Boshman, Giulia Costa, Alexa Godino, Sadie Loftus, Emily Loomis, Riley Mackrell, Ashlan Palickar), Wallenpaupack (Breanna Brandt, June Brown, Hannah Daidone, Bethany Day, Kelcie Fillebrown, Jessieann Gallagher, Kassie Herbert, Olivia Lojewski), Matilda Serrano (Nanticoke), Katherine Legg (Honesdale), Ava Jones, Olivia Corcoran, Kinley Purdy (Lake-Lehman), Sarah O\u2019Donnell, Evolette Reinard (North Pocono), Madelyn Graves (Tunkhannock), Kaitlyn Kloss (Western Wayne), Isabella Costa (Wyoming Area).<\/p>\n

Around the state: Kraus is bidding to become the first four-time state champion. She won her first two titles in Class 1A at Moravian Academy, then transferred to Saucon Valley last year and won the Class 2A title. She won her fourth District 11 championship in 17:49.0. \u2026 Emily Fisher of Somerset, who was state runnerup last year, was second at the District 5 Championships in 19:07.0 behind teammate Libby Marteeny (18:59.0). \u2026 Lauren Kosek from Wellsboro won the District 4 title in 18:00.0. She placed sixth last year at states. Baylee Espinosa of Lewisburg was second in District 4 in 18:43. Espinosa won the state title in 2023 and was ninth last year. \u2026 Reese Miller from Gwynedd Mercy won the District 1 title in 17:28.1 and Lower Moreland\u2019s Annie Moniz was second in 18:33.2. Moniz placed eighth last year at states and Miller was 15th. \u2026 Cathedral Prep teammates Fina Bannister (18:15) and Anne-Catherine Brown (18:15) went\u00a0\u00a01-2 at the District 10 Championships. Last year at states, Brown was 12th and Bannister 18th. \u2026 Martinsburg Central\u2019s Lanee Berkheimer won the District 6 title in 18:25.0. She placed 17th last year at states. \u2026 Chloe May of Bedford, who was 21st last year at states, finished third at the District 5 Championships in 19:24.0. \u2026 District 2 champion Sadie Loftus earned a state medal in 2023 by finishing 24th in 20:03. Wallenpaupack\u2019s Kelcie Fillebrown also was a state medalist in 2023, placing 23rd in 19:57.<\/p>\n

Around the state: Bondy captured the District 3 title in 18:10.1 and Dallastown\u2019s Leah Navarro finished second in 18:18.6. Navarro placed third last year at states. \u2026 Julia Kelly from Downingtown West, who was fourth last year at states, won the District 1 title in 16:54.4. Alexia Tubbs of Conestoga, who was ninth last year at states, placed fourth in District 1 in 17:45.6. \u2026 Madelyn McCartney of Emmaus won the District 11 title in 18:02.5. McCartney was 13th last year at states. \u2026 Evelyn Younkin from State College won the District 6 title in 18:08.3 and Ashlyn Noce of Altoona was second in 18:14,7. \u2026 South Fayette\u2019s Angela Zeng won the District 7 title in 17:49.7. \u2026 Abington Heights\u2019 Pucilowski just missed out on a state medal last year in a photo finish, placing 26th in 19:21. She also was 27th in 2022 in 20:05.5.<\/p>\n

Around the state: Simkiss won the District 1 title in 15:41.1. \u2026 Michael Fritz from Northwest won the District 4 title in 16:07.0. He finished eighth last year at states. \u2026 Gus Seiferlein from Veritas Academy won the District 3 title in 16:09.7 and Covenant Christian\u2019s Hudson Vrbicek was second in 16:34.7. Vrbicek finished 19th last year at states. \u2026 Kam Shelton of Mercyhurst Prep won the District 10 title in 15:44.0. He was 14th last year at states. James Alexander from Lakeview was third at the District 10 meet in 16:04.0. Alexander placed 17th last year at states. \u2026 Zachary Sharara from Sewickley Academy won the District 7 title in 15:41.6. Scott McConnell of Mohawk was second in 16:05.4 and Ashton Saunders from Riverview was third in 16:10.0.\u00a0Sharara was 23rd last year at states, Saunders 25th and McConnell 32nd. \u2026 District 2 has five returning medalists: Adams (fourth), Jones (fifth), Parker Upright (15th), Schimelfenig (20th) and Decker (24th).<\/p>\n

Around the state: Montagnese won the District 7 title in 15:08.7. Carter French from Knoch was second in 15:36.6. French finished 11th last year at states. \u2026 North Catholic\u2019s Jack Steineman (15:38.3) and Tyler Carroll (15:53.3) were third and fourth at the District 7 Championships. Carroll was 23rd last year at states. \u2026 Tyce Shaner from Hughesville won the District 4 title in 15:58.0. Shaner was 10th last year at states. \u2026 Ryan Gourley of Oley Valley won the District 3 title in 15:42.7. Gourley was 19th last year at states. \u2026 Holy Ghost Prep\u2019s Jack Loveman won the District 1 title in 16:33.5. He placed 25th last year at states. \u2026 Blake Glass from Fort LeBoeuf won the District 10 title in 15:38.0. \u2026 Allentown Central Catholic\u2019s Will Haring won the District 11 title in 16:35.7. \u2026 Two-time District 2 champion Staude of Crestwood was 29th last year at states.<\/p>\n

Around the state: Smith won the District 6 title in 15:14.9 and Theo Oppermann from State College was second in 15:19.9. Opperman was fifth last year at states. \u2026 Lower Merion\u2019s Alexander Mazzeo (14:58.5) and Nicholas Mazzeo (15:00.5) finished 1-2 at the District 1 Championships. North Penn\u2019s Justin Landis was third in 15:05.6 and Council Rock North\u2019s Matt Gosling fourth in 15:09.9. Nicholas Mazzeo was state runnerup last year, Gosling sixth and Landis eighth. \u2026 Travis Furmanski from Cedar Crest won the District 3 title in 15:23.9. \u2026 Benjamin McBride of Norwin won the District 7 title in 15:27.8. \u2026 Wallenpaupack\u2019s Janowicz was District 2\u2019s top finisher in Class 3A last year in 39th.<\/p>\n
