The three-day event will celebrate America's history, heritage and natural beauty through a collection of original artwork depicting the Revolutionary War, Civil War, local coal breakers and America's National Parks. The exhibit will be held June 12 through June 14 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 337 Spring St., West Pittston. Admission is free to the public. In addition to the featured artwork, the exhibit will include a display of artwork created by Sue Hand's student artists in grades two through six. Visitors also will have the opportunity to attend gallery talks and watercolor demonstrations by the featured artists throughout the weekend. Schedule of events includes: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, with gallery talk at 7 p.m., 'Why We Paint,' a tribute to the people of the Revolutionary War and Civil War, including a special tribute to 'First to Fall'; 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 13, gallery talk at 7 p.m., 'Our National Parks' and watercolor demonstration by RJ Tomascik; 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, gallery talk at 3 p.m., 'The Art of the American Flag' and watercolor demonstration by Sue Hand.
