CATASAUQUA BOROUGH, Pa. – Officials in Catasauqua say recent vandalism is having a direct impact on the borough’s Kids\u2019 Summer Program.<\/p>\n
Supplies for the program have been destroyed, and with it set to begin June 15, officials say there is very little time to replace the items that were lost.<\/p>\n
The Kids\u2019 Summer Program is free and offered to children entering 1st through 6th grade, with the only cost to families being occasional optional field trips.<\/p>\n
Officials are asking for donations from the community to help restock supplies quickly so the borough can continue offering a fun, safe, and engaging program at no cost to participating families.<\/p>\n
They are currently seeking donations of kid-friendly supplies, games, and activities. Helpful items include construction paper, markers, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, stickers, coloring books, craft kits, jump ropes, hula hoops, board games, and other age-appropriate games or activities.<\/p>\n
