The classic book and film The Outsiders is now a Tony award winning musical. The show won four Tony Awards. Best Lighting Design in a Musical, Best Sound Design in a Musical, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Musical in 2024. Now, it&#8217;s here in Philly for the very first time. <\/p>\n<p>Set in 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma, join Ponyboy, Johnny and their other Greasers family for an action packed musical. The classic story told in a way you&#8217;ve never seen it before, with exciting stage choreography, songs and fight scenes. See the tragic story come to life on the Academy of Music stage. For those that DO know it well, don&#8217;t worry. The &#8220;Stay gold, Ponyboy.
