The Three Rivers Arts Festival and Pittsburgh Pride are back.The fun started for many with Morgan Wallen\u2019s return to the Steel City on Friday night.\u201cOut of 10, this is an 11 out of 10,\u201d Carissa Steele, of Ligonier, said. \u201cWe\u2019re all excited.\u201dThousands have waited months for the country music superstar\u2019s two shows at Acrisure Stadium.”It\u2019s the one time of year we all come together and celebrate good country music,\u201d said Sara Argiro, of Wexford. \u201cLots of text messages, being in the queue and getting tickets together.”\u201cI got my daughter Christmas present tickets,\u201d said Erica Jones. \u201cShe had to get them because she missed him last time.\u201dThe 2026 stop on the \u201cI\u2019m Still the Problem\u201d Tour brought the Billboard Music Award-winning artist to Pittsburgh\u2019s biggest venue.\u201cI\u2019m stunned that he\u2019s back,\u201d said Lauren Miller, of Ligonier. \u201cI\u2019m so excited. He\u2019s in the big stadium. He was at Star Lake, PNC Park, and now he\u2019s at Acrisure.\u201dWallen\u2019s shows on Friday and Saturday draw people from multiple states.\u201cWe had to see Morgan,\u201d said Ryan Gall, who drove from New York City. \u201cHe\u2019s the best. We wanted to come out here because a couple of our buddies are out.\u201dA lot of Wallen’s fans made their way to the North Shore any way they could.\u201cWe came in my friend\u2019s boat,\u201d said Michael Berretone. \u201cWe brought it right up on the water. What better place to tailgate than right on the river?\u201dThis busy weekend only started with Wallen.Three Rivers Arts Festival and Pittsburgh Pride officials say they\u2019ve coordinated with each other and the city to make sure everyone who wants to come downtown can do so.\u201cWe do have transportation for individuals who are parking downtown,\u201d said Pittsburgh Pride director Dena Stanley. \u201cThis is not our first rodeo. For the last few years, there have been a lot of things happening at the same time. We work with the other festivals and the city to make sure this goes off without a hitch.\u201dThis map shows the pride parade route from downtown to Allegheny Commons Park.Those with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust said they’re ready to host the Arts Fest for the first time at Arts Landing downtown.\u201cThis is Pittsburgh\u2019s start to summer,\u201d said Kendra Whitlock-Ingram. \u201cWe\u2019re going to make it a good one this year.\u201dOfficials hope all the crowds find ways to cross over to all three events.\u201cWe love all of the allies that come and people from the community who come visit us as well,\u201d Stanley said. \u201cWe\u2019re projecting around 300,000 people down here throughout the weekend.
