Fireworks fans can catch colorful displays around Erie this summer<\/p>\n

With major celebrations happening in Erie this summer, including America250PA, the Fourth of July and more, beautiful and colorful fireworks will soon be gracing the skies.<\/p>\n

Here is a guide to all of the different places around Erie County where you can catch a fireworks display. If we missed any events that include fireworks, send the full details including location, date and time to Nsorensen@usatodayco.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fireworks at Erie SeaWolves games<\/p>\n

The Erie SeaWolves<\/a> continue their seasonal postgame fireworks. All games start at 6:05 p.m.<\/p>\n

This season the postgame fireworks will take place at UPMC Park on the following home game dates:<\/p>\n

Aug. 21 vs. New Hampshire<\/p>\n

What’s allowed: Know Erie County’s fireworks laws before launching them<\/a><\/p>\n

Lights and Liberty Over Lake Erie<\/p>\n

The city of Erie will continue its Fourth of July tradition while celebrating America250 with fireworks over Lake Erie<\/a> on July 3. The fireworks display will launch from the Bicentennial Tower at Dobbins Landing at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Fireworks around Erie County<\/p>\n

Albion: The Albion Fireworks Festival<\/a> returns June 27 and 28 at Albion Borough Park. The fireworks display will take place at dusk on June 28.<\/p>\n

Corry: Fireworks in Corry will happen at the 2026 Corry Police K9 Concert and Fireworks event<\/a> at North Hills Golf Course at 1450 N Center St. on June 27. The fireworks will cap off the night following the free Daytona Beach 2000 concert that begins at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Edinboro: The Boro with the Works<\/a> returns on July 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jeremy D. Brown Human Services Building at 215 Scotland Road in Edinboro. The fireworks display will kick off at the end of the event at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Harborcreek: Harborcreek Township<\/a> will have a fireworks display to close out Harbocreek Community Day on July 24 at the Community Park behind the Harborcreek Municipal Building at 5601 Buffalo Road. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Lawrence Park: Lawrence Park Township<\/a> will be blasting off fireworks on July 4 at 10 p.m. at Iroquois High School at 4301 Main St. Township manager Spencer Caden says the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority gave the township a $5,000 grant to support the fireworks.<\/p>\n

McKean: McKean Township will host McKean Community Day<\/a> on July 25 at McKean Recreational Park. The night will end with a fireworks display that sets off at approximately 9:45 p.m.<\/p>\n

Wesleyville: Borough of Wesleyville will display fireworks at the 12th annual Community Day<\/a> on June 20 at Wesleyville Memorial Park at 1700 Wesley Avenue. Fireworks kick off at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Fireworks in Crawford County<\/p>\n

Meadville: The 2026 Independence Day in Crawford County <\/a>will take place on July 4 at the Robertson Athletic Complex at 204 Park Avenue in Meadville. The event includes a fireworks display finale at dusk to commemorate America’s250th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Fireworks in Mercer County<\/p>\n

Greenville: Attendees can find a fireworks display at the annual Greenville Heritage Day<\/a> taking place on July 11. The annual fireworks show will close out the celebration at 10 p.m. from the Riverside Park.<\/p>\n

Mercer: During the Jefferson Township Fair<\/a> at 7309 Lamor Road in Mercer, a fireworks display will be held at 10 p.m. on Aug. 1.<\/p>\n

250th Independence Day: Erie County is celebrating America250PA with music, fireworks and more<\/a><\/p>\n

Fireworks in Ashtabula County, Ohio<\/p>\n

Ashtabula: In celebration of America250, Ashtabula will host “Red, White and Boom over Lake Erie<\/a>” from July 2 to July 4. The fireworks will be lit at 10 p.m. on July 4 at Lakeview Park just off of Mill Street.<\/p>\n
